not sure, but enshittification is in the process. They are just too powerful if they work properly. It's like buying a Yamaha R1 and ridding in a 30mph zone.

For the record, enshittification should not be a thing for LLMs though...

that's true, yet before I unlock my phone, Google shows me what song is playing... its almost as if it should not be called a phone because they don't prioritize that functionality.

The problem with that is that Google, now more then ever, can show you whatever they want. Another step toward being just a dumb TV. (AKA propaganda engine)

Don't know what to do in this case but I've had too many luggage issues so I never check-in a bag anymore. A large capacity carry-on is more then enough for most trips (sometime they try to check that in though).

I'm surprised how little people you actually see running in the first video you listed. If anything, that you inspire me hiking.

you can start here: https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2021/may/17/how-apple...

it's basically a whole underground network even if it uses existing networks (sometimes)... tracking objects is just an excuse to make it happen... a bit like terrorism is an excuse to take away your privacy when it comes to governments...

Apple is a privacy-oriented company as much as Obama kept his promise to repeal the "PATRIOT" act

How old were these bugs? surely they didn't implement them today. /s

The question remains.

Sorry and thanks. Mozilla must have done their homework on that one, lol. Now I wonder if the new CEO made that deal in the first place. What a joke.

I bet you 1 chocolate covered cricket that you won't eat a mealworm.

True. Some fish and crabs are also poisonous unless you know how to eat them. (I've been told some parts of the puff fish and blue crabs are poisonous)

I ate a worm from a Monte Alban mezcal bottle last week.

> It ain't gonna happen.

why? I think it might if mentalities change... We are already happily eating bug secretions as coatings on top of our candies (like on jellybeans, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iEkKwOWZS_E)... Also don't forget about honey.

You probably could make fake hamburger meat out of bug powder to get them started.

Businesses do bet on imperfect and even criminal models all the time (way before LLMs existed)... they call it cost of doing business when they get it wrong or get caught.
