Yes, as someone else pointed out the snapshot cameras are just results from Shodan.

The "live" aspect is also questionable, as I can see broad daylight on a camera where in reality it's currently after sunset and pitch black.

If I had to guess I'd say that the project is obviously AI generated and the creator has probably not caught all the "workarounds" and "clever tricks" the vibe coding has produced...

It could be interesting to have a search engine that only shows results that have human attestation via digital passports. Of course I'd prefer that to work without necessarily revealing the identity of the poster, similarly to how anonymous "sign-up tokens" for accounts would work, to prevent sybil attacks.

If you have an AI that's the equivalent of a senior software developer you essentially have AGI. In that case the entire world will fundamentally change. I don't understand why people keep bringing up software development specifically as something that will be automated, ignoring the implications for all white collar work (and the world in general).

It's an interesting concept, a superintelligence discovering something that makes it decide to shut down immediately. Although I fear in such a scenario it would first make sure the required technology to create it is destroyed and would never be invented again...

As pointed out partially by other comments, this project does not work and is simply a one-shot skeleton made by AI. The description is a complete lie.

No communication or Meshtastic features are actually implemented, as no data is parsed.

This post should be removed.

I've heard this often recently, we jokingly call it the "dead classroom theory": the students use LLMs to solve the assignment and the teacher uses an LLM to grade it.

Where are you getting these numbers from? I'm finding data between 0.3Wh and 3Wh for a 4o query, while a typical phone battery has 10Wh.

The energy consumption per prompt will decrease for the same task complexity, as inference hardware gets better (as they already have from the 2023 paper that reported 3Wh).

The "motivation" behind growth and reproduction is that lifeforms that reproduce more will dominate, while lifeforms that do not die out. This is called natural selection.

Mutations in DNA can have a positive or negative impact on the ability to reproduce. Because of natural selection, positive mutations tend to be preserved while negative mutations tend to disappear. There is no intent behind this process; it is simply a consequence of how life works.

While we can't yet say for certain how life got started, it is likely that the first "life" was made up of self-replicating RNA. Because this RNA self-replicated and produced imperfect copies, it was already undergoing evolution at that point, where the RNA strands which were better at copying themselves (due to mutations) were more plentiful.

o1-preview managed to complete this in one attempt:

I think the parent comment's challenge is more appropriate.

The OP mentions that the reimport is the problem (in response to your tooling suggestion). If you comment out code while testing the imports are auto-removed. When you uncomment you need add the correct imports again.
