It's strange how Americans can complain about how enthusiastically they give up their rights and safety to corporations.
I guarantee you that if a bill was introduced to enforce humane conditions on airline flights, it would be shot down for being communist anti-business government overreach. The same people who complain about inhumane conditions are often the same ones who perpetuate them.
Obvious follow up question: soviet tech is easy to come by, at least the kind that's now used in dozens of countries. How is the missile not designed to be effective against the most likely target? Surely Raytheon must have a dozen versions of Russian and European flare dispensers and not just the US kind?
