I have read pretty much all the reports on Erowid on the three mentioned too and I don't remember a single one that sounded like a good experience.

I think the problem is being poisoned by atropine. It is not like you can just relax and go with the flow while literally being poisoned.

I believe the movie Hellraiser is inspired by datura too.

None of these languages have ever been on the level of Reaktor IMO and I started in csound quite awhile before Reaktor.

You don't gain almost anything with these languages in their current forms because they end up not being much different than modular patch cord synthesis with a less intuitive interface.

The amount and variety of interesting sounds I have heard from Reaktor is several orders of magnitude beyond csound to a degree it isn't even comparable.

I might even rate these early versions of AudioLM as already more interesting than csound.

The whole idea of music programming languages is a dead end IMO.

The story that will get any clicks though is about the pending Burning Man disaster. Of course no one wants to read about reality and how this is not a big deal.

No one will even remember this was a story by Thursday.

It is because Burning Man is not Glastonbury. If it hadn't peaked in popularity before this it sure has now.

That really doesn't mean anything as far as the quality of the experience. It might even be better subjectively with less people. If it is something you really want to experience then go sooner rather than later though. I really loved BM when I was younger but I have aged out and it is pretty much the last thing I would want to do now. This mud just hammers that point home for me.
