This is a better idea. Put the headset on a delay so AI can inject the requisite politeness. Construction workers don’t have to turn screws by hand so why shouldn’t service workers have a tool that helps them give great customer service?

people need to stop comparing everything to sports. in sports teams you shower with your team mates, you have much closer bonds, and it's only one game at a time. other endeavors don't work like that.
who cares? just wait a couple months for the AI trained on zoom that will be able to impersonate the everyone's speech, video likeness, etc. probably soon entire meetings could be reasonably simulated. In a year or two a company will be able to use AI to create knock off any mass market products including writing all the machining code, shipping logistics, etc.
