I wouldn’t say ironic. Japanese automakers like Toyota were accused of being caught off guard by electric cars but the truth is that these companies have been developing hydrogen drivetrain and vehicle technology for a long, long time. Those that wonder why Toyota introduced the Prius and seemingly stopped short of an electric car after that haven’t been paying attention to what Toyota’s vision for transportation looks like.
I have an interest in researching CS programs within a specific geographical area in the states but am having trouble finding good data on student outcomes and associated metrics. If this ranking data is bs or gamed, then what’s the best available resource for helping to determine what programs are good, bad or otherwise?
Close, but I’m not advocating against helping, just commenting on this particular approach. Also in your example, homeless needing shelter are currently at risk of environmental exposure whereas in this stage of medical debt, the damage has already been done (debt is discounted due to time elapsed since its initial sale). Buying medical debt offers relief by way of positive disposition but also rewards someone who bought and sold that debt along the way. If you’re voting your dollars to a system that profits off misfortune, you are encouraging that system to exist.
I think this is the play. They can create or influence standards that favor their new position - build vertical integration where others in this space cannot.
This behavior is thought to be innate, which by definition is considered to be not learned behavior but preprogrammed into DNA. Consider a plant titling towards the sun.
I can’t wrap my head around thinking it’s ok to speak with a law firm hired by my employer to air grievances without having some written assurances that the feedback will be anonymous or shielded from repercussions.
Thanks for writing this book. I’m on the fence about going down this road or learning Power BI instead. Can you recommend a beginner resources on using Python in Excel? I’d rather use Excel and learn Python, for sure!
Autopilot-style driver aids can mess with these data points to some extent. Still very interesting that diversity in destination is considered an indicator.
I did this for ALL ads on FB over many months and am now relatively as free. It helps that I only visit FB from a browser that’s isolated from other web browsing.
