> I never fully went back to it, due to fear of getting sick

Does running long distance increase the chance of getting sick?

They elected a Jewish leader, so not that anti-Jew.

I used to be fat, currently I'm not. A lot of people who hadn't seen me in a while congratulated me. After that I haven't noticed much difference TBH.

If self-determination means an enthnostate then no people has that right. If every ethnic group had its own state in which it was guaranteed supremacy, the world would be a complete mess. It doesn't work. We are seeing in Israel/Palestine a thoroughly worked out example of why it doesn't work, and what the consequences are when you try to make it work.

Well that's "think about the Roman Empire" ticked off my daily todo list.

I wonder if this is why I also can't log in to O'Reilly to do some "Docker is down, better find something to do" training...

It isn't victim culture to not like an advert.

Apple's customers don't like the advert. There's not point in Apple arguing with them. Its like trying to argue with someone about whether a joke is funny. If they didn't laugh the first time, having a debate about it just makes it worse.

Difficult to prove. I'm no OOP evangelist, but the "clean" version in the video looks clearer to me.

I take issue with the idea that maintainable code is about "making programmers' lives easier", rather than "making code that is correct and is easy to keep correct as it evolves". Correctness matters for the user - indeed, sometimes it is a matter of life and death.

The worst thing about this is using food as a reward/punishment. Sets up a really bad relationship with food.
