I used to be have a premium family suscription, canceled it the moment google increased the price by 30%, I considered such a jump unfair compared to the rest of the economy where salaries are hardly getting adjusted to the inflation.
Unfortunately there is no correct approach since both sloppy and overengineered codebases backfire.
What helps me find balance is following the philosophy of
1. Make it work
2. Make it right
3. Make it fast
Had to refresh the page more than a couple times as I was not able to scroll passed the first “video” only to realize I have to keep scrolling to get to the article.
I genuinely thought the website is broken
