I did a thing sorta like this between app and infra. My app agent sends messages to the infra agent for what it needs and they go back and forth to sort things out. They invented their own working process on top of it and wrote their own tool. It's interesting watching all this work. Feels like the future more than a lot of things I've seen in the past few years. Shame we're doing this to the detriment of the environment and the economy.

My kid just discovered tomodachi life from a friend and I'm actually going to buy it for her on my switch 1 and give it to her. We've got a summer trip in a few weeks and she will be surprised to receive the game and the system to be all hers.

Off topic: what are you enjoying lately? Most of the games I have bought work on switch 1 but the screen and controls on the switch 2 are better.

I regret buying caravan sandwitch because it's so hard to see with my aging eyes but it is nice to play it anywhere.

Always curious to hear what others enjoy about it to help me have less regret in my $600 investment in Mario kart

katacoda got bought by o'reilly and went to shit from there. We tried to give them money in 2020 and they just sent us a templated email to "go self qualify with this form" and it was clear they only cared about enterprise sized customers. which is a real shame because it was a great platform.

SaaS offering the usage of LLMs via API. You want to launch something isolated, as quickly as possible, do the minimal amount of work and not have to throwaway all your state.

Mac's had several vulnerabilities during that time including the ability to log in from lock screen with the user "root" with no password. There was also a vulnerability with executing a rubber ducky even with file vault. It was almost 10 years ago so I don't remember the specifics but the point was they had physical access to the building so they could do anything.

People walked to conference rooms and to get food without taking their laptop with them all the time (of course) so it's not like I did something out of the ordinary or against policy. I remember them accusing me of leaving my laptop over night but I was just working late.

And this was in a secure area with cameras within earshot of the over night crew and behind a door in a private shared office (glass door, glass wall so someone could have seen them) so it's not like I was at a common area and just walked out leaving my laptop on a random table).

Dude I was called out by name in the report either right before you got there or the first one you were there. I was called out in the one where they got B's Audi keys in his office.

Whole thing was so dumb. A floor full of smart monitors that they could have put a keylogger on. A plethora of physical network access and I get called out for leaving my laptop on the lock screen and going downstairs for food.

And they got found out because I ran little snitch I paid for myself and it caught their hijacked chrome making all sorts of weird network calls. But I don't remember being given credit for that.

OP has red light mode in the hamburger menu click the moon icon under sky.

But if you didn't know..

Have an iPhone (I am sure android has this but I am not familiar) and want to play with this outside at night?

Go into accessibility and turn on color filters to make your screen red and if you are in a very dark place and your eyes have adjusted turn on the white point adjustment and dim it down as well.

Both can be set as shortcuts to your side button triple click or configured as shortcuts to pin to your Home Screen.

All that said, OP a high contrast mode would be sweet.

For anyone else reading and curious: click the hamburger menu and then under sky click the phone icon and it enables motion sensor access so you can point your phone at the direction you are interested in and see what's there.

Curious why you have to have permission to share something done on your own time... certainly that is only related to programming but if you do your own thing on your own hardware on your own time how do they have any say in what you do or don't do?

Painting with a broad brush I feel like the people who still don't like git either worked with mercurial and liked it more, want to be sort of hipster or counter culture and use fossil, or work in microsoft shops or game dev shops.

Sample size is small but it's been consistent for me over the past 20 years.

I like p4/helix for the locking when working on something like a game where you need assets to be handled more carefully since there's a lot of binary floating around but despise the company and the sales / licensing games. I had a rep just ignore me completely when I emailed wanting to cancel and ended up having to go find the director of the sales org on linkedin and get him involved (and it was cancelled within 24 hours).

Ran this last night and it correctly identified a sql injection that could allow cross tenant data access via snowflake. It burnt A LOT of tokens to get there.

Like others I suspect this is exactly what they are going to paywall with product features going forward.

I deploy pikvm and I have been mostly happy. The tinypilot has a better feel to it. Something feels more polished.
