I see. Wasn't aware of this. However, it does not appear that an official standard for concurrency exists within the Common Lisp Document Repository (CDR). To be honest, CL implementers should just solicit donations for producing a standard.
There are also other basic things needed for adoption - standard APIs for database providers, etc
I am wondering whether next year there will be re-write of Scarf after the vibe-code degenerative collapse of their source code into un-maintainability. At some point, the LLM patch/fix cycle will devolve into straitjacket.

Standardized Concurrency is basic table-stakes for a language today. CL does not have a standardized async/await or concurrency model. The standard hasn't been updated since 1995 so it will never happen.

Aren't you making a strawman argument ? AFAIK this project is not made by an official PostgreSQL core developer, so the entire premise of your argument is invalid.
I guess you are fine with the recent increase in homeschooling which is hitting record numbers. The activists..oops "professionals" don't like that either.
The only acceptable and correct trade-off for anti-cheat is fully remote gaming + locked-down console, where the Game companies own the software and servers and hardware and just rent you a "play slice" via their locked-down console. I suspect even then, they will want to install tools to monitor you to satisfy their "analytics"
Apple makes good hardware but their software is really sucky nowadays. Finder was always crap but today even Windows Explorer is crap so all the default OS file managers stand in the same shit pool.
These vibe-coded, LLM-generated websites look ALL the same, lol. They have the exact same tells nowadays. The output of LLM's in web-site generation used to vary quite a bit last year but now they all produce the same generic soup. Some sort of weird model collapse is happening.
After 30 years of the web, a "common" component model and "UI standard" is now inadvertently metastasizing into existence. Sadly, it is a crappy standard with many of the UI decisions (cards with icons on their own line) being utterly brain-dead.
So what is the alternative punishment for folks like this who have destroyed the lives of countless people ? Hard labour for life in a mine until death ?
Volkswagen Group (and in general German manufacturing) profits slumped by ~50% because of banning Russian gas and stringent U.S. import tariffs. The increase in gas costs made German manufacturing uncompetitive compared to China.
Writing Specs that are thousands of lines wrong without formalism, type and correctness checking is a major PITA. Wish we had a..compiler that can check our code..err I mean spec.
Will all matter in the universe just collapse into black-holes eventually ? It feels that way. And will all the black-holes then merge to form the Primordial Black Hole which will then explode to form a new universe ?
