IMHO you waste too much of your life if you (constantly) memorize, try to find the beauty instead. :) 1 + 2 + 3 + ... + n n + (n-1) + (n-2) + ... + 1 ------------------------------------- (n+1) + (n+1) + (n+1) + ... + (n+1) = n*(n+1)
