absolutely love forums! It's also a kind of a rite of passage for devs to create a forum if you are learning new language (back in the days) - an advanced version of "Create your first blog" type of thing?

A while back ago, I created HN Plus (hn[.]plus) (for some reason it gets blocked) - anyway, wanted to give people a way to create their own HN clone - still being used today and it was a very interesting exercise to replicate all the niche features of HN.

Cool!

I recently ported Doom on browser so that you can easily play multi-player (up to 4) completely free (you can host it yourself on Cloudflare)

I've signed up with Ollama to experiment with these open source models. For the past 3 months, it's just been experimenting, trying it out. GLM is the first model that I am using on a daily basis to do my coding work (as well as using Claude). It's good - I've been maxing out my Ollama usage limits everyday :)

definitely worth it - have both ollama cloud, opencode and hermes running to test them all out, working great so far.

DrawX is Excalidraw with backend.

I love Excalidraw but I don't need Excalidraw+ I just need the backend where I can save and be able to create multiple canvases.

So that's what I built!

I love excalidraw, but don't need the excalidraw+. But Excalidraw open source is the frontend only, which means I have to delete my drawings each time. So I built the backend so I can create many canvases.

Love Excalidraw. Didn't need Excalidraw+. Just needed a way to have multiple canvases. So built one. You can use it too.

ok I don't care what people say, this would've helped me a lot during my PhD days fighting with LateX and diagrams. :)

I run SideProjectors - https://www.sideprojectors.com - a marketplace where people can buy/sell their side projects and businesses. I've been running it for over 14 years now.
