What a sham. Saying that "it only applies to illegal immigrants" is bullshit
1. NRC = prove that your ancestors were here before 1951 by records. Which most Indian people (of any religion) can't. So most people will be left out of the citizenship registry.
2. CAA = if you're not a citizen, but a Hindu, Buddhist, Jain, Parsi, Sikh or Christian, you get citizenship. (excluding Muslims)
So effectively, it says, if you're not Muslim, you get citizenship. If you're Muslim you go to detention camp.
