Oh they're a super weird unit for sure. But I do kinda like that it allows expressing both 100ths of an inch and 10ths of a millimetre as an integer. I wonder if they're a carryover from early versions of MS Word when CPU power was more limited?
You can do this now directly in the Google environment. Should be trivial to vibe code Google Apps Script to hit a Slack endpoint. You'd probably use an 'on edit' trigger to run the code.
I like GNOME for the most part. But I really dislike needing an extension to change the date away from US format. Extensions in general seem unstable. Every now and then GNOME just locks up and I have to kill it from a terminal session to avoid losing my work.
