Wouldn't it be cool if there’s "Google" for video captions? There doesn’t seem to me any out on the inter webs. And so, I wanted to put together a quick prototype.
YouDict is a caption search engine for YouTube videos. YouDict allows you to search words, expressions & even names. Currently available for English (US & UK), French, Spanish and Chinese.
- WHAT? We are giving instant "street" addresses to whole world - no streets required. In addition, we make existing addresses smarter by adding intelligent postal codes for next-gen logistics.
- WHY? Because, we think our current addresses are old, broken & inadequate for today’s needs. And, existing solutions such as What3words or Google Plus Codes aren't enough.
- THE BIG PICTURE: We are building a scalable platform to power e-commerce 3.0, last-mile logistics, drone deliveries, uberized mailboxes, universal & even space addresses.
- TRACTION: Currently in partnership talks with 3 businesses across logistics, postal sectors, and food delivery. Also, in talks with 3 tier-1 VC firms.
Addresses, or lack thereof, cause problems in all parts of the world even in the 21st century. There are 10M hard-to-find homes in the US and 1B+ people without addresses worldwide. We took a crack at solving this problem. We certainly aren't the first one in the space. But, we do offer many unique advantages compared to existing solutions such as What3Words, Google Plus Codes, or other geocode schemes. Would love to get some feedback from you all. Thanks!
