With comment from 63, I’ve got to check it out. Seeing someone else’s dev process is such a cool thing.

Trying things I wouldn’t usually enjoy to get more diverse experiences and inputs sounds really valuable. Thanks for taking the time to give me all this advice :)

Playing with game mods seems like a solid experience. I’ve made some mods/games in Minecraft and Roblox before. Doing it a few more times to learn sounds good, thanks for the reminder!

I get what you mean. Right now, I can only get feedback through anonymous posts like this, but I’d love to talk to gamers in person as soon as I can. I half-expected some of this feedback, but I was surprised and later grateful by how much people gave (including your comment). Thanks :-)

Your encouraging comment means a lot, thanks! I never thought about listening to Valve’s game audio commentary, but I’ll check it out for sure.

I’ve seen levelsio’s posts too. I’m using AI tools like Cursor to build my game right now, and it’s pretty exciting.

Thanks for the book recommendation, I’ll definitely read it! And yeah, I don’t have to take everyone’s feedback. It’s up to me to decide what to use. Thanks!
