I experience this in my non tech, corporate job. Its mostly non pertinent information to my actual job which is why I think I generally tune out, but of course all the suits think it’s just the most important info so they hold meetings. And all your peers that do know what’s going on when they don’t actually need to, are suck ups who probably are not good at their job and want to get into management. I wouldn’t worry about it unless you have dreams of becoming a suit, but that is just my 2 cents.

Because the electricity isn’t generated by mostly natural gas anyway and will continue to be for the foreseeable future…this doesn’t reduce emissions, it’s just authoritarian virtue signaling.

If they tell those of us that live in a cold climate that we can’t have gas furnaces and gas water heaters, they are going to be rudely awakened by our response.

Sorry this is sports related but I’ve always wanted to see a league where players can only play on their regional/city team. So if you were born in Dallas, you can only play for Dallas(you can move to a new city but you always play for the place on the birth certificate. International players would require a draft or maybe an international league. This would create more long term strategy and have the added bonus of pumping money into and improving youth sports

As Peter Thiel pointed out yesterday, ETH appears to be accurately valued compared to payment processing companies like Visa. Doesn’t mean it’s not useful, but maybe not a lot of room to increase the market cap.
