it sounds like you might have wasted your team's time previously and now they don't trust the code you put up with a PR. Maybe you can do something to improve your relationship with them?
As a sidenote, I highly doubt they are cooked longterm. Using AI is not exactly skilled labor. If they want or need I'm sure they could learn patterns/workflows in like an afternoon. As things go on it will only get easier to use.
This isn’t really true with React Native, Hermes as a JS engine is just drastically slower than JIT-enabled web view . Sure the “native” parts will theoretically be faster but your app code will be a lot slower. Just test how long a rerender takes in react native on a device than react on a browser for the same device.
What they decided to do is really quite strange. Something like Capacitor makes much more sense but they said they wanted access to React Native libraries... I hope https://github.com/OpenNative/open-native can address their requirements in the future. It's goal is to make things like React Native native modules work across frameworks (e.g., react native libraries working in capacitor and native script)
Most of the time people do not know your real identity on the internet so I don’t think natural assumptions have that much to do with it. Even if someone is well known and their gender is well known it doesn’t harm anyone or anything to have their pronouns in their bio. The fact it annoys so many people for “virtue signaling” is baffling to me. Who cares about virtue signaling and why is it seemingly only conservatives that think it’s derogatory when complaining about virtue signaling is far more of a virtue signal than pronouns lol.
