One difference to consider: books require active participation on the part of the consumer. Whereas digital/screens can just happen to you whether you participate or not.

Similar to XBMC at least for a long time.

Elecom gives them a run for their money thumb ball wise in my experience.

Steermouse fills this gap brilliantly. Covers every device I’ve ever tried and I have some significant exotics.

FWIW you can do it for “all apps” in one go — I set one up for printing to PDF and it works great

Excellent article really enjoyed it.

Thought provoking critiques of recent implantations. Number 2 seems like a catch-22 though — how does the group with agency identify their own blind spots?

My impression is that the question is whether “business” in this instance refers to the Yellowpages company itself, or the companies that make up their customers base.

Damaging USAID irreparably damages the US soft power around the globe. As Elon’s businesses are not limited to US borders, I wonder if there is perhaps a bigger picture here.

FWIW, this is now possible albeit with a third party app: https://github.com/sbmpost/AutoRaise

FWIW wBlock is on GitHub and can be used without an Apple account. I’ve found it to be excellent.

If the US government requests such access, do you see a world in which Waymo says no, given the current landscape?

I think you might be happily surprised for sure.

Arguable in general, but certainly not if you’re the American government, which is what is being discussed here.

Well for the record then this is my jam and I cannot express how much I love it: https://www.rtings.com/mouse/reviews/elecom/huge-m-ht1drbk

There’s also the slightly smaller Deft Pro (https://switchandclick.com/elecom-deft-pro-review/) which I also own and use for travel — it has a superior scroll wheel and therefore may be a superior choice for you.

For me the Huge has a perfect form factor that outweighs all else.

On mac I use steermouse to map the buttons.

I promise to stop being a trackball pusher now.

If you’re open to spending about the same (about $10 more), then the Logitech MX Ergo might be exactly what you’re after.

While Chernobyl is absolutely a masterpiece, Jared Harris’ performance in The Terror season 1 remains his finest by an incredible margin. Every muscle he exercised in Chernobyl is on display in TERROR S1, and about a thousand more. Highly highly recommend for anyone who appreciates mature, emotionally complex drama. It’s a crime how few people seem to be aware of it!
