Sonar (YC S20) | Backend Developer | Remote/San Francisco | Full-time | https://www.sonar.app

We’re looking for someone exceptional to scale our Go backend.

We’re a bit of Minecraft, Discord, and creative chaos thrown together.

We’re a small team of four with 50 years of combined experience and 7-figures of combined losses in social and crypto. We’ve shipped world-class products at Houseparty, Instagram, Facebook, YikYak, and other top social companies.

We get excited about working with people that look a lot like entrepreneurs: dependable, relentless, and obsessed with the community and product we’re building. We want to be your life-long supporters from your time at Sonar and beyond.

Sonar is built on Go, supports smart contracts, and looks a lot like a game, so it’ll be helpful if you have experience with these.

Most of us work out of a brick and timber loft in South Park, San Francisco but are happy to work with anyone across the globe.

Email us at [email protected] or apply here: https://bookface.ycombinator.com/company/22256/jobs/48270

There's a Japanese term called kaizen, which perfectly describes this effect - small continual changes eventually result in huge ones over time.

Yeah, if the experience was an automated warehouse in which you know you're getting exactly what you want (and if it's not listed, it means they don't have it), it would be a lot better.

The whole checkout experience can be automated, and the final items only need to be picked up and delivered.

The primary reason I don't use them is they have 0 customer service, it's impossible to talk to a real person for help when your order gets screwed up or your driver is a no show (happens a lot).

UberEats app is somewhat buggy too. I also feel they lose out when it comes to overall restaurant selection.
