Yeah this is a basic problem that's been solved since the advent of PGP. As many other posters have said, this isn't about age verification.

If only Venus had a moon like ours to encourage rotation.

I pronounce it language models or chat bots.

This is amazing. Like circus animals jumping through hoops.

> compute shall keep getting cheaper as it's always been since 60 years or something

past success is not a strong indicator for future success.

Then just start rubber-stamping their code. Say you "vibe" read it.

Where can one even find the seasons? I only found season 1 on Blu-ray.

Sounds like we're finally doing agile.

Sure, but surely you expect a `func add(a, b) { return a + b; }` to actually produce a + b, in whatever way it finds best? And if it doesn't, you can reproduce the error, and file a bug? And then someone can fix that bug?

Ok, but we treat them as bugs that we can reproduce and assume that they are solvable? We don't just assume that it's intrinsic to the compiler that it must have bugs, and that they will occur in random, non-deterministic ways?

Do these compilers sometimes give correct instructions and sometimes incorrect instructions for the same higher level code, and it's considered an intrinsic part of the compiler that you just have to deal with? Because otherwise this argument is bunk.

Computer memory, even cheap consumer grade stuff, has much higher reliability than 90%. Otherwise your computer would be completely unusable!

What is the ratio of Markdown to Code with these agents? How readable is the Markdown after you've finished using it to develop your plan? How much time does it take to review code so closely vs. writing it yourself in the first place?

You don't have to. How else are the new hires going to learn the downsides of outputting so much unreadable BS?

It's almost like programming via markdown.

Lots of good thoughts in here.

> You can ask an AI what 2 * 3 is and for the low price of several seconds of waiting, a few milliliters of water and enough power to watch 5% of a TikTok video on a television, it will tell you.

This might be what many of the companies that host and sell time with an LLM want you to do, however. Go ahead, drive that monster truck one mile to pickup fast food! The more that's consumed, the more money that goes in the pockets of those companies....

> The instincts are for people to get the AI to do work for them, not to learn from the AI how to do the work themselves.

Improviny my own learning is one of the few things I find beneficial with LLMs!

If you're ever confused by Don's actions, just remember: all he cares about is gaining more wealth (and power if possible). This was done to enrich Don and the oil barons who funded his campaign.

Maybe Trump captured Maduro just so he could pardon him? This would be a joke but comedy died when that man was elected, and this might actually be the case.

Even if this did happen there would no doubt be some sweet-talking schmuck with half a college degree and connections to all the other rich and powerful (likely through their dad) claiming credit for everything the LLM did.

Looking at his LinkedIn profile, he seems to be the MBA type, with little to no technical experience. For the past year he's been the SVP or GM of Firefox, whatever that means. Take that as you will...
