For SpaceX (and possible the others):

Yes it can, since they changed the rules to force over $30 trillion in passive 401k and retirement money to buy SpaceX at IPO valuations.

From https://x.com/Hedgeye/status/2060435253928604065:

"Rule changes for the SpaceX $SPCX IPO:

Index providers waived the profitability requirement and cut the seasoning window from 90 days to 5.

This forces over $30 trillion in passive 401k and retirement money to buy SpaceX at IPO valuations.

Bloomberg Intelligence estimates S&P 500 funds must absorb 19% of SpaceX's float within 6 months.

Russell 1000 and Nasdaq 100 funds will absorb 24%.

The rules built to protect passive investors:

1. S&P 500 has required 12 months of trading and 4 quarters of GAAP profitability since 2002. Both waived.

2. Nasdaq cut its inclusion window from 90 trading days to 15.

3. FTSE Russell cut its to 5.

All three benchmarks are now structured to buy SpaceX at IPO pricing."

* Their nuclear program was obliterated in June 2026, says even the White house (1)

* The worlds leading sponsor of and spender on terrorism (including financial aid to Hamas) is Israel, by a wide margin (2)

* Claims that “thousands” or “tens of thousands” were killed specifically over water protests are not supported by widely accepted evidence

Now I'm wondering which country is a bigger threat to us and peace in general.

A country on the brink of financial collapse, with a severe drought and one of the last remaining opponents of our greatest ally?

Or a country that "provides funding to both Democratic and Republican leadership teams, often supporting over 90% of targeted caucus members" (3) and constantly wants us to fight their wars?

Agreed. Maybe even more dangerous.

Achieving digital sovereignty is imperative for Europe, in any case.

It will be, after the bubble bursts and it will be surprisingly cheap.

Public transportation is on a different level and all mayor cities are connected via a high speed rail network.

The latter probably will never happen in the US.

I‘m not so sure about this. Is there any indication or prior example from business history for that claim?

The Apple App Store seems good enough for most normal people. They will even defend having no alternative means of installing software on their iPhones with „Security“.
