>The price looks really good compared to Stadia, and being able to use a dirt cheap Fire Stick that many already have instead of a $100 hardware investment is a huge plus.
I don't get this statement. Don't you need to purchase an Amazon Controller for $50 and if you want a good SoC and 4K capability you'll also need to purchase a Fire Stick 4K at about $50 which brings the total to $100.
As for Stadia - there's no need to purchase a Stadia controller or Chromecast 4K. I've used an Xbox controller and Chrome to play just fine.
More like shitty Java. I'm glad Java is being relegated to a second class language that is not recommended for Android development. Kotlin is the now the recommended language for Android development. I give Google 2-3 years before they deprecate Java from Android.
It's absolutely amazing how some people can find new ways to blame Google for something they had nothing to do with. Just Incredible. Additionally, if it had not been for the money given to Mozilla by Google the development of Firefox would have severely been in decline and possibly abandoned.
>And this is why we all should have shouted louder when Google set this precedent five years ago.
Do you also shout loud when Microsoft set a precedent for shutting down products and services? Of course you don't. You just confine your rage to Google. Let's have a look at all of the products and services Microsoft has cancelled:
Let that sink in next time you do a drive by on a Google related topic and post one of those lame "I wonder when it will be cancelled" worthless posts.
I suggest you listen to the questions and responses of some of the justices because it's evident they have no idea of what code declarations are.
