> Currently skills cannot be tagged to different models. Ideally we should be able to say -- for trivial tasks, the skill should always use Haiku even if invoked from a session with Opus xhigh.

You can set the model for a skill. You just set model: haiku at the top and it will use haiku! You can even set the effort level, look for “Frontmatter reference” in this doc article: https://code.claude.com/docs/en/skills

> However, if you want to call yourself an engineer (and work in the field), you must understand the underlying mechanics. IMHO if you want to defeat a competitor today, you don’t need industrial espionage - you just have to cut their internet and/or AI subscriptions. Modern vibe engineers would struggle to function.

True, but on the other hand, when I started programming (hell, even before the whole LLM craze began) and you took away my internet/stackoverflow/google I would also drastically lose productivity. Especially in my more junior years, and later, of course I could still write code, but if I had to figure out how a certain library worked or why a certain error in the auth layer happened, without internet I would be nowhere.

About FancyZones, the nice thing about it is that you can define the zones where Windows will snap the windows to using the WIN+[arrow key] short cut. I'm especially loving this app when using it on my 4K monitor, as this is where the zones really come in handy. I'm pretty much only using FancyZones.

Why does it matter to you that people "who make 1/3 of what you make" buy this device on release day? That's just pathetic.
