Thanks for clearing this up, as I don't work in that area.
Personally I'd say that it's a problem that prices of consumer goods go up that far to satisfy this part of the market. We could need a more sensible way to advance the technology.
What the fuck is wrong with you people? You are glaring over the technology, defending it as the coming of christ and have no sense for security? Are you serious?
Why is anyone in the GitHub response talking to the AI bot? It's really crazy to adapt to arguing with it in any way. We just need to shut down the bot. Get real people.
Night shift work in factories is also accompanied by unrealistic expectations. It's expected to work as efficient as during daylight shifts and personally I wasn't able to achieve that. A couple of people did that, but I don't think that anything of this is healthy or good for the worker.
Sleeping during the morning isn't that great, you need really good blinds and sometimes ear protection because it's loud out there.
If we were build to work during the night, we would have headlights instead of eyes was a pretty good union slogan during my time.
I'm happy I moved on but would think it would be better for everyone to not work during the night as during the day.
I'm a scrum master, but I'm happy to not do daily standups anymore. I prefer to work harder on todos and concepts and enabling teams to do their work written without talking.
We did that, with one technical user to share data between our backend and SAP, but got the news that it's not legal and must be licensed per user that's using our app. Even over http you can't access data in SAP without paying your fees accordingly.
The problem with SAP APIs and services is that each user that uses the system is billed individually. When you try to build an app that helps one department you have to pay for each of the user accounts despite the fact they just use your app, not all the other stuff. On top, there are no real pricing schemes to know what is coming at you. Either 100$ per user per month or 5000$. Depends. The cloud solution doesn't make that easier.
What's wrong with going home at 5pm? Ever heard of work-life balance? Your start-up won't run better when you run everyone into the ground. Build sustainable businesses over shattering yourself.
