I liked my one and ride in Cruise however the problem I had was it took 10 minutes or so for my car to depart.
Car arrives. I get in. The car is sitting there getting ready to depart but not moving. After a few minutes I hit the button to call support. Someone tells me it's about ready to go. Ten minutes later it starts leaving.
I have no idea why it took so long to start but it wasn't a great experience.
If you (or anyone else from Cruise) can explain what was going on, that would settle the difference in experience to me.
There’s proof from Federal agencies that they knew the algorithm was intentionally being weaponized to agitate and promote domestic protestors. Just look at the Chinese consulate shut down when 45 was in office last in Texas. It was rumored to be the base of operations for where the Chinese were weaponizing the algorithm against American interests.
I’m looking to do something like autoinstall for my office but is there an easier way have my employees do their own thumb drive (remote users) and get the config they need from me? I’m looking for an MDM Intune like enrollment that’s easier and configured it a certain way. I’m not in a position to use and manage Puppet.

When I worked there they were all about open source projects to build it themselves and control the service. Well, when your whole company is run on one DNS service this is going to bite you in the butt.
I only know of a handful of Saas apps they didn’t build internally. Sadly none of those will help them get out of this situation.

Call me crazy, but haven’t we seen social media being manipulated (bots) to push narratives?
These accusations or problems crop up fairly quick and then the media gets on it and then whoever/whatever is destroyed.
If social media can be manipulated to swing stock markets or elections, then isn’t it possible it can swing to push narratives or keep us constantly fighting ourselves?
I know from an associate that their experience with GCP makes it seem like they aren’t able to handle the edge cases for customers. My associate tells me that GCP sales team will talk up all the capabilities, but when it comes time to move from a competing provider, it’s like a new road for them. Unforeseen outages because something that scaled well in AWS/Azure is not scaling as it should in GCP. Chalk it up to new learnings for the team, but having to reach out to GCP to fix or allow something that AWS/Azure already makes easy to do shouldn’t be difficult, or a surprise.
I have friends who are no longer buying from Amazon. Especially friends with kids. You can’t trust anything safe for your kids when crap like this is allowed. Amazon is in a race to flood the market with availability at the cost of consumer confidence.
Remember all the hoverboard fires you saw on the news several years ago? They weren’t knock offs, but items sold that didn’t have any real safety certifications in mind. Amazon only cares something bad happens on the news and they’re involved.
