No. That restriction has been gone for a few years now.

I can run rimworld and quasimorph via steam at the same time, as an example.

He singlehandedly annihilated the US soybean market.

That's not a good thing. Lots of farmers going bankrupt now.

Well, having the paper agreement certainly helped last time. (A month ago.)

There's also a Language barrier. So making sure there is a written agreement ensures that both sides understand what was agreed upon.

I went and got some articles mentioning this mess.

Paper trail stuff. But more importantly, when the first set of executive orders reducing tariffs rates went out, it conveniently mentioned Japanese investments but did not include tariff reductions for Japanese goods.

So the Japanese government pointed at the written agreement and told the trump admin to get their shit together. A few days later, the tariff reductions on Japanese goods was hastily added on.

In the case of Japan, it's likely an issue with Japanese regulations.

We have a very strict radio law that applies to anything that can produce radio or em waves

That includes motherboards, since they can technically emit on those frequencies.

From what I have seen, the framework laptop motherboards appear to abide by that law. However, I assume it's just expensive to figure out in the first place.

Oh how I long for the older, simpler and unobtrusive systems like that.

I have so many things where I just want the old non-electric style back.

A part of me really wants those spinny window cranks back. Highly prefer those funny things over electric windows.

Touchscreens on cars need to die out, preferably quickly.

That doesn't really matter.

Lets assume the ridiculous best case scenario: Tesla cars are 2x as safe as other cars.

If replacement parts for a Tesla car cost 2x the amount of regular cars, there is practically no difference in cost. It will still cost more to repair that Tesla comparatively to other vehicles per accident.

Remember, insurance also calculates the driver's individual risk level.

Combine that with reckless Tesla owners letting the car just drive for them while asleep at the wheel. Tesla cars still have a high risk overall.

> no correlation between rockets and self driving cars,

This is actually false. Automation of vehicle controls has a surprisingly large overlap between air/space and land.

The main difference is the amount of traffic and lack of vibration dampening.

To my understanding, that is because Tesla car replacement parts are hideously expensive. Not because they are unsafe.
