As long as most people are happy with television and similar crap( most free time is spent with tv ), city landscape doesn't really matter; at least on the grand scale; the first step towards nicer cities is always removing personal cars.
Because there are numerous calculations and observations indicating that it is there. In other words, the hypothesis is supported by evidence. That cannot be said for certain supernatural beings.
I think it a loss that a game with such original complexity has the most primitive graphics. Nobody wants 3D acceleration, but an upgrade to a simple 2D with sprites and effects with a better interface, would open it to a wider crowd.
No Man's Sky doesn't have a seamless world. It is separated between space and planets. The first clue is the incorrect size ratio of ships to planets when in space and when on planets. The second clue to this is the video, at 2:16 in the video[0], two ships most far away from the player( not the three close in front ) disappear into the planet's atmosphere, that is the line that separates the two worlds.
I did implement those, but the deeper understanding eludes me. Honestly I never gave them much though, when it comes to choose whether to take a week and learn it properly I always rather code or do something tangible. Except for linear algebra, which is something I might use in the future.
Here are very simple guidelines for using NoScript:
Automatically block everything, if you trust a site, add it to a whitelist.
Most sites work without js, if they don't, then selectively enable scripts you need and keep others, you don't trust disabled.
Enabling scripts( or all of them ) for the current site requires a single click.
You can keep a js disabled and only enable parts of the site with clicking on blocked elements.
