Wow, posts like these kind of want me to sign up and become a customer. The honesty and openness is something I highly value and it's weird that this is so uncommon that you get surprised by reading stuff like this.

Seems like they have a good understanding what the problems are so they will most likely be solved sooner or later.

Good work and keep honesty as open as you've done so far :)

I'm all for SQLite and I am a fan of the author of the project but for a webserver I have turned my back away from Nginx for https://caddyserver.com/ because of the simplicity.

Caddy is just really awesome as a reverse proxy (2 line config!!) and I am in the processes of moving all my projects to it. It is fast enough as well since other things will be the bottle neck way before that.

I am not affiliated with Caddy in any way, just blown away by the quality of it.

LinkedIn is really a disgusting place imo. The only people who are active on LinkedIn is people that sells bullshit and recruiters who spam everyone.

I have no trust in linkedin and I am sure this new feature will be as low quality as usual, on par with the low quality stuff on fiverr and upwork.

I can buy the muscle memory part, sure but are they really very inaccurate?

I can select very small text on my phone with my bigger fingers. And also with a touch screen you may have more options in a smaller space.

Sure, that may suck for critical things, but there probably are a lot of settings and so forth that could be hidden that are not critical?

But I understand what you meant, I prefer physical buttons as well.

I work in a small team, we just install and configure everything without Docker, Kubernetes or anything else. Just install it like I would with any other software and then run it after configuration. When it's time to deploy we have a bash script that bundles the app and pushes it onto the server.

Almost too simple to work, but it does ;)

This is one of the big reasons I bought a projector instead of a large tv. Because all the large(r) TVs came with "smart" crapware in them.

I just need a HDMI port. Please. Let there be options for us that's not only a friggin' projector.

When switching default browser, it will ask you one more time if you really don't want to use Edge.

Gaming ads will be seen in the start menu.

Ads for Onedrive will be seen in file explorer.

If you ever start skype, don't be expected to be able to log off or even shut the app down unless you kill the process or uninstall it entirely.

With every update, it will ask you again to put tracking on, making the ads be more vigilant.

Just a few of the stuff I find incredible annoying with ads in Windows 10.
