Comparing systemd and Kubernetes for this scenario is like comparing an apple tree to a citrus grove.

You can specify just about anything, including exact nodes, for Kubernetes workloads.

This is just injecting some of that automatically.

I'm not knocking systemd, it's just not relevant.

Probably, this is my wife's computer.

We aren't attached to Apple, but finding build quality, battery life, high quality screen and likely to last 10 years is hard elsewhere.

To replace the 2012 which was mostly OK, but had blown speakers.

I still have an Intel MBP provided by my employer. I don't keep a personal laptop, it would just gather dust 99% of the time.

Lightroom Classic (latest version) is unpleasant on my wife's M1 and even crashes. Last night I moved it over to my gaming PC which is pretty old, but performs much better.

It ran on her 2012 Intel MBP and whatever dayjob MBP I had in the past.

Not to take away from the story, but the thought that only one person noticed is likely wrong. Only one person understood the problem AND made it through the gauntlet of reporting the issue.

Just something that always seems glaring when people discuss things like support volume.

What? All of these products probably have a miles long changelog.

I mean, I can assume you don't care for the change, but it's there. Streetview was launched in 2007.

ChromeOS and Android are Linux. Android compatibility comes from a container.
