I built an open-source framework for building SaaS application fast. It comes with user authentication and subscription payment integration with Stripe. It's based on Firebase and React.
If you are thinking to build your SaaS product, you can use the framework to setup the application within an hour so that you can focus on building the core features of your SaaS.
The purpose of Fireact project is to provide a starting point for building web applications that require user management functionalities, such as SaaS, membership websites, etc.
I am using Ubuntu and Mac OSX. I have a Windows 10 machine dedicated for gaming which I don't really have much time to enjoy.
Windows 10 - so slow to start up. I don't like the UI design.
Ubuntu - fast, but somehow after upgrading to 18.04 my number key pad doesn't work without running a command, so annoying. hardware support is still an issue but there is always solution if you know how to use Linux
OSX - beautiful UI, very stable and fast experience. I am not a fan of Apple. My Macbook Pro is the only Apple product I have and I can say it is worthy price.
No guide can guarantee a successful startup. There are so many factors that you can and cannot control, even you have built a successful startup, the chance of building another one is not much greater.
I strongly recommend two books:
- Elon Musk: Tesla, SpaceX, and the Quest for a Fantastic Future
- Lost and Founder: A Painfully Honest Field Guide to the Startup World
