Anytime I hear sundials, I now think of my trip to Jantar Munter in Jaipur, India. Home to world's largest sundial, accurate to two seconds.

I've always liked public clocks as mentioned in the linked article as well. Big mechanical tower clocks and church clocks are fascinating. Too bad the age of them being just given away as they're decommissioned ended about twenty years ago. Now they're starting to go for some big money, when you can find them.
