Both guys seem very knowledgeable and all, but honestly I think they both would have failed the SD interview.
Many (from a small sample set) of my google and ex-google colleagues concede that they would neither want to, nor succeed in gaining entry to google status, if they had to enter the current front door. It's a classic situation, has flavours of the Groucho Marx club thing, and "in order to save cambodia, it was necessary to bomb it"
