I would say 20 million is as false of a number as James Clapper's statements regarding NSA monitoring US citizens via firms he has financial stake in. Rather false indeed. Perhaps not an outright lie, but detached enough from reality where it should not be considered the truth.

For reference, one FISA request can be an entire company's user-base. "Direct access" is direct enough when a majority of content can be accessed real-time, much of it back stored for "direct accessing" later using non obvious relationship awareness analysis.

Your definition of "much" seems to be a .005% or less, yet you keep stating it like JSTOR has valiantly decided to keep other users from having to go the same route by 'freeing' up the data themselves?

Why? One of the world's largest corporations acted like a snotty brat in a court mandated statement. Dedicated most of it's space to show it's entire public facing self is entirely disconnected with the court's wishes, and a good portion of the world.
