What's even more frustrating is that out of the 10 random sites I picked from the list, every single one of them had whois information linking back to China. In order to stop 99.999% of all copyright infringing sites, all US ISP's need to do is block every /8 allocated to APNIC (and a few /16's they have too I believe). Nearly every single brute force attempt on my server is from, you guessed it, China. China contributes nothing but trojans, viruses, and headaches to the rest of the internet. They already have the "great firewall of China" so why not just completely detach China from the rest of the internet as we know it. China will no longer have to operate a firewall (or more of a glorified content filter) and people in the rest of the world will be slightly more safe.
I've already blocked every IP block here[1] with iptables and I suggest others follow suit.
That would have been "cute" 3 years ago, but now Firefox sucks more than ever before. Hell, IE 9 is actually better than the latest version of Firefox and Mozilla just keeps digging their grave deeper.
1 year from now Firefox will be the next Netscape Navigator and be nothing more than a pale memory.
I will never understand why Apple went with Twitter integration over Facebook. Or, you know, provide an API that lets any application take over social features (Google+, LinkedIn, etc).
Except it doesn't even work because you still can't search for source code since punctuation like + or $ so it's not even a semi-replacement for Google Code Search (not that that's what it was intended for).
You could always do this. For example, with AT&T, [10DigitPhoneNumber]@txt.att.net. Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and others all have their own email address to send texts to.
There's really nothing wrong with HG. I've used them for quite a long time. The shared server I'm on has 18GB of RAM, dual Xeon X5675 for a total of 24 cores, and a load of 0.24, 0.30, 0.31 at the time of this comment. Too little too late. I already severed myself completely from Google's services. Cancelled my Google Apps subscription, moved my email to another service, docs, calendar, contacts, etc. The only thing I use Google for now is Google Voice.
Google Apps users couldn't even use Google Groups, Buzz, +1 Buttons, or anything that requires Google Profiles. Leave it to Google to ignore their paying customers.
I've purchased a few themes as well, however every time I've gone to do it I usually contact the author via email first and offer to buy the theme directly from him for 30-40% off. I save money, they get more money, we all win.
