I found it interesting that this biography is so different than the ones that have been written in Western news recently. Can anyone here speak to how accurate it might be?
I may be completely off-base, but after reading the article and poking around a bit I got the impression that most in the DP group are youngish (under 21) and just wanting to be part of a secret society that does something 'useful.'
Most of the conspiracy theory nuts I know (I know a couple) are just kids who something big to happen, and so they make up a conspiracy so that they can be part of it.
I do not believe that the committee has proper authority to approve posting here, we should refer all comments to PG and let him decide whether or not to approve each post.
They say that the seats in the back are more safe, presumably because fewer people die in them, but are not the seats in the back usually only filled if the plane is full? The plane would have to be somewhat full in order for someone in the back of the plane to die in a crash. I am not saying that their data is completely wrong, as I am not sure what their methodology was, but it is at least suspect.
Even most private schools in America charge less per pupil than the government pays to educate a student in a public school. Governments are rarely efficient because they do not have to be.

But that does not explain people who switch religions later in life.
For myself, I decided that I could not be atheist after encountering spirits. My encounters with spirits disproved atheism for me, instead I am currently a Christian because that is the only religion that is able to accurately describe my spiritual encounters. Atheism as a worldview denies that spirits exist, therefore in my mind it can not possibly be accurate.
I think that you mean it is virtually impossible to buy non-pirated games. The same goes for movies here: There are lots of them everywhere, but they are all pirated.
Knowing a little about how the process works, you usually do not get to speak to that actual congressman, but instead one of their staff workers who does their best to sound sympathetic without committing to anything.
You should really try Arch. I was initially hesitant, because of the whole 'Build you own Linux!' thing, but after doing it once I learned LOTS and realized that it was not near as difficult as it sounds.
There is excellent documentation in the Arch wiki, and the forums are helpful. And I have to say, installing arch linux taught me more about linux than anything else that I have ever done.
