If you don't self censor in these cases the law will find you somehow. How change so they get you next time.

Not always, but pgp wasn't exported that way until not long before there was good demand for for encryption in e-commerce anyway

Telcos sell off peak only 5g for cheap. Only to large companies that are willing to work with the limits. Often it is low bandwidth.

Picking from 100 options is what the mouse is best for. Keyboards require learning so they are best for the options you do often enough to learn. I know about 10 different vi commands of the hundreds.

There is more than selecting options. Selecting text is normally better with a mouse.

I have personally not found value in a different model. The review itself often is good.

Will it? Okay, first we need to ask "which humans" - there are many humans who don't see a point in the things we call best practices. I've work with programmers who are faster than me to getting low bug count code out the door, despite writing 70,000 line functions - he didn't understand why nobody else wanted to add new features to his code.

The standards most "good developer" humans demand were learned from many decades of painful experience about what happens when you do it the other way. These are not only compromises for human convenience, they often are things that we have learned will come back to bite you later even though they just add more work today for no gain.

Reaching for the mouse doesn't break my flow. It makes the thing I was doing invisible in the flow. Keyboard shortcuts require me to think, which makes it FEEL like I'm doing something, and that something is in the flow so it feels like I'm productive. However the mouse doesn't even enter into the flow at all, I just do the thing and get on with the real work without breaking flow.

Again, there is no universal correct answer. Sometimes the keyboard really is better. However sometimes the mouse really is better and because I'm proficient in it I don't break my flow to use it.

> usually because they don’t realize how much more productive keyboard navigation is than reaching for the mouse a lot of the time.

In a large number of cases people who say they are more productive have never measured it. They have no idea if it is true. There are been many competitions between keyboard and mouse navigation over the years. Depending on the details of how the test is written one will win or the other, often by a significant amount, in many cases the loser is the one that user said was more productive before seeing the real results.

You need some thing that the enemy cannot spoof. That means two way communication and a shared secret (public private key may count).

Then we need to ask what happens if communication itself fails? An enemy that knows you are doing this has incentive to jam Communications. Either you do nothing in that case because there might be something you can't communicate with, or you kill your own people

The law and courts are not really settled here from what I can tell. I expect some day hundreds of millions $$$ will be spent on this

Your redistribution license only applies to the part you own copyright on. Everything else is still under the original license. You can add AGPL but that doesn't take away the BSD license from the parts you didn't create.

That forces you not only in not the intentional good decisions of the past but also copies too many bad ones.

3 happened. The new boss is the old bosses son though so it wasn't a useful change.

Nearly everybody recognized it as an international waterway. Iran did not official but they acted liked it was international.

You need human confirmation (for now) only when your side might be there. Tell your army not to go someplace and you can kill anything that is there.

It is more than that. It is also the dealer has the parts you need, even for older stuff. Deere is well known to stock replacement parts longer than anyone else, and can get replacement parts where others would say not possible. network effects and incumbency help as well, but Deere is the most repairable.

We also need to ask if the better is because of Rust, or just because the old was a mess and the language was good otherwise.

They did. However vinyl was considered better than 8 track. Cassette was a lot more portable than 8 track, and so where portability mattered it won. Elsewhere vinyl was considered better than 8 track and so it won (a few years latter CDs came and won).

Those who really cared about sound quality had reel to reel tape, but that was very rare. Almost no albums were ever released on reel to reel. You typically bought the vinyl and copied it to your own reels thus ensuring there were no scratches.

Deere employee, but speaking for myself, not the company.

Farmers buy Deere because they are the most repairable. The dealer is just down the road, and has the parts that you need. The things you cannot do yourself are things that farmers think "I wouldn't do that anyway".

A few years, and that was on accident. They were too degraded to be worth using 5 years ago compared to the hey day

True, but at least there are reporters.

For national or international news I feel if it matters I will find out. However I'm in the dark about what happens in my state. My city is even worse - and those are places an informed voter can make a difference.
