Not one person in any health insurance company has the job to help someone heal. Insurance is a clerk function, jammed in between patient and doctor. They do no service that medicare doesn't do already.

Confusing things is the ACA is cheap for people who get subsidies (if you're near poverty) but for those us self employed or make medium income, our payments to health insurance companies are $1500 or more per month. For what? We get denials at our most vulnerable moments.

Abolish insurance. Let us buy into medicare or make M4A like most other countries have. Insurance is a old sick system that way outlived it's grifting life.

I miss the old Pre-OSX finder that could accomplish copy files without opening a second window and dragging into.

I'll never get how some rocket scientist (IVIE I suspect) removed Apple's best finder feature, colored file folders, which made for easy sorting. To make matters worse, added stupid dot labels instead. What a cluster.

Oh well. Still a bad day on a Mac is better than a great day in Windows.

I need to resurrect by tiny old Motorola Flip Phone without internet connection. Maybe a phone should be just a phone. I don't need AI in my pants.

Why DOS? 1) Gary Killdall thought too high and mighty of CP/M (maybe rightly) while 2) Bill Gates had nothing to lose from selling IBM what they needed to the new PC. Gates told them what they wanted to hear, and he won. That dweeb was smart and his dad being a lawyer taught him about contracts. He then sold DOS to all the clones with a forced per CPU license, even if MSDos wasn't sold with the Clone. Gates made bank early.

Interesting side note. It took years for PC users to gain multi-user capabilities, mostly when with Novell connected machines and brought file/record locking etc. And before the PC multiuser was already in MP/M and Unix on machines like Altos and Molecular Computer. Killdall would have probably got eht market back if he hadn't died.

And fast forward today, deep down Windows still runs much DOS code. Like Veeger it's morphed into Windows whatever.
