Used kind + skaffold for 6 months and it was pretty solid. However, eventually switched to k3d and tilt and feeling like this combo is amazing. Cluster takes 2 seconds to create now.
1. No sorry. Slack is already too chatty with bots and I end up leaving channels with git related output. I like to do git things in GitHub,gitlab, or terminal where I have full access to the toolsets. Email serves fine for notifications on PRs or things I have marked as watch.
2. No.

So when you are 50 we will have awesome control over our brains and genes. Guess what? When you are 50 and this happens you really won't give a shit.
The value prop isn't for the consumer, it's for Amazon. Stuffing Alexa into anything and everything means more usage overall and a more attractive platform for companies looking to sell their wares.
The upside is the satisfaction of solving sometimes interesting problems. Some people do crossword puzzles, some play video games. A rare few write operating systems used by perhaps billions of people.
