I use probably about 15 cloud SASS products for my company. Over the past year many of them have switched from offering either live chat or email support to chat bots. Often they will send out a marketing email pitching it as a huge improvement in support. My experience with chat bot support ranges from frustrating to infuriating, especially when I need help with something business critical.
It sounds like, if you can, you need to have an honest conversation with your boss. Ideally you can find a balance where your boss feel like you are getting an appropriate amount of work done and you feel like you have a good work/life balance. That's probably the only way you will last at this job long term. To answer you question: No I don't think it's unreasonable for you to be happy at work. Just understand that you boss also needs to be happy with your work. Good luck.
