Oh that's weird, I'll definitely check!
I only tested it on Chrome from pc & mac and is working well. Note: I suggest you give it a go from a laptop, the visualization is not yet optimized for smartphone
Hi everyone, I wanted to share with you my organization charting/ visualization project. I started working on this for an organizational research class, but I though that it could potentially be useful in other scenarios (e.g. consulting or sales) so I developed it further.
Right now the script takes into account mainly the person's job title and the location. Job titles are matched against a library of macro positions, to understand the functional role. Location is normalized and then used to identify offices, countries and regions and group accordingly. These data are then fed into a random forest algo that sketches out a best guess of the lines of reporting.
Hope you guys will find it interesting/ useful and if you have any feedback I'd love to hear!
Hi HN, I wanted to show you Principal, the last product I built!
Principal allows you to create engaging 1:1 presentations for your target customers. For example you can create business cases, analyses or just qualitative content personalized for your most strategic prospects.
At the core, think of Principal as Google sheet + zapier + Google slides + Tracking. You search datapoints on your accounts, load them in the provided Google Sheet and load up your presentation. The system will create many versions of the doc, individualized for each of your accounts. Getting started video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KSiFdy-36U4
The ideal use cases is b2b sales (especially to high-ticket enterprise customers), but it can also work well for other cases where you want to communicate individual value to your prospect. If you have any thoughts or feedback, I’d love to hear from you!
It's hard to say since the tool was not only free, but didn't even require signing up (see for example comproi.com, its sister-site which is still free and no-sign-up). My estimate is about 200 free users, but could be off. We'll see how many they actually sign up now (so far about 50)
Hey guys, I wanted to share this weekend project with you.
Showparcels allows dropshippers/eCommerce stores to create a branded and customized shipment tracking page for their customers.
It also allows to display related products on the order tracking page for up/cross-sell customers when they visit it to check their delivery status. Since many people check the tracking pages very often, you get quite a lot of free traffic you can use to try to convert them again. You are also able to implement your Facbook pixel or any other retargeting pixel on the page.
I've integrated multiple tracking APIs to get shipments data, so it basically works with all the major 600 carriers worldwide.
Please reply to the post if you have any questions or feedback for me!
Thanks for you feedback, really appreciate it! Very good point on identifying duplicated accounts across same/different channels. I really agree deactivation of disengaged prospects can really impact deliverability to the entire list.
Man, don’t feel this way. You are great, young and capable. Fuck the job! There will be many opportunities for you and with hard work and a little belief in yourself you’ll capture them.
Do you know how many great entrepreneurs, professionals and artists got started at your age? A LOT!
Thanks, thought it was perhaps a little boring - but useful! These services are typically based on creating a smtp handshake with the receiving server to check for the existence of the address before sending. Works with most receiving providers
