With remote work the equivalent e.g. a quick social chat on zoom or 1-1 meeting is. We should be picky as to which ones we bring a not taker too.
As for a real coffee shop? There is a YC working on a bolt on recorder for your phone so yes. And black mirror is starting to look like a documentary at this point.
I agree there is a skill change but agents aren't people so managing them is very different. E.g. you can spin up 1000 agents. Get them inti tight loops and get them more context and so on. A manager doesn't do that with people.
I got enough feel from scrolling down. But only just. They need more demoage for sure. Good demo for AI IMO is do 50 canned prompts with cached answers running at simulated speed. Zero AI cost to demo and can be made available without login.
Tldr: Walled gardens suck. I can't lend you or sell you my iPhone app either. Physicsl media is cool because it offers both a unit of authenticity and ownership. Second hand games were fine as having the game when it came out was the value, like a movie vs. watching free a year later on TV.
