Yes I really hope the memory storage just leads to a delay and not a cancellation.

To be fair that's one more corner than Tahoe.

Yeah Kimi-K2.5 is the first open weights model that actually feels competitive with the closed models, and I've tried a lot of them now.

Yes but it’s barely usable. I ended up making my own Dockerfile and a bash script to just ‘docker run’ my setup itself, and as a bonus you don’t need Docker Desktop. I might open source it at some point but honestly it’s pretty trivial to just append a couple of volume mount flags and env vars to your docker run and have exactly what you want included.

Yeah, except there aren't even principles at play here. For example, streamline all regulatory approvals, oh except for disfavored groups: https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2025/12/speed-act-passes...

No, microinverters are still a thing (Enphase is a popular brand) and they do then get connected in parallel.

It really depends. Old hot water radiators were ugly in their own way. Even with modern forced air HVAC I find the soffits and boxes to accommodate ductwork unsightly.

Some brands make units that interface with existing radiant baseboards, or individual heat pump heads that recess entirely into the ceiling leaving just a vent visible, like https://mylinkdrive.com/USA/M_Series/R410A_Systems-1/One_Way...

This is easily the most clever web programming hack I’ve seen this year. Bravo. I had seen this used for video or audio of course but it never occurred to me you could use it for databases. There are probably a ton of other formats this is good for too.

That seems a little tinfoil hat considering the largest consumer use of storage is photos & video, neither of which compress any more anyway.
