We curated over 200 (and still growing) great example of podcast cover art. You can filter covers by categories and other criteria, to find great examples of what works best to hook listeners.
Like many of you, the Election on Tuesday is front of mind, and will be for a few days after :-/
I was thinking about the number of people that actually vote, and with more states allowing early voting, I wondered how it would affect participation in the election (given the current pandemic).
I was able to find the raw data on http://www.electproject.org/ but wasn't happy with how it was being displayed, so I created my own visualization.
See a few comments mentioning me (the developer :)) so here goes ...
When I started working on newCo I was working on it my spare time. I decided it would best for newCo if Ben was able to focus on it fulltime, instead of splitting the revenue with me, then having to supplement his income with other work.
To be clear Ben was willing to share the revenue with me at the time. I was in a place where that wasn't necessary and I thought it would best if it went to Ben until we hit certain milestones which we never did.
MakerPad was something totally new that Ben started after we decided to fold newCo, he did 100% of the work for many years, and deserves all the success it has brought.
Ben is a friend, and I'm happy I was a part of his "startup" journey. I'd be more than happy to work with him on projects in the future.
I go into all my projects with a clear mind, knowing what I'm risking (usually only my time).
With over 850K podcasts, and an estimated 450K active podcasts finding the gems to listen too is getting harder than ever.
Rather than discovering podcasts, Pod Hunt makes episodes the focal point of discovery. You won't find a the same tired list of top podcasts you see everywhere else.
Instead a daily updated list of new episodes is submitted and voted on by the Pod Hunt community members.
This was my submission to the Product Hunt Makers Festival: API Edition in the data visualization category.
I wanted to make it easier to see who makers had worked with and hopefully make it easier to find people to work with on future projects thru their existing networks.
MCU Movies started as a simple one page website in 2017, an easy way to keep track of the movies in the MCU and keep an eye on the upcoming movies in the franchise.
I've continued to grow the site as the MCU continued to grow in popularity.
I couldn't find an easy way to track the remaining fixtures for Liverpool and Manchester City (and also at the time Spurs) so I decided to build a website to make it super easy.
I built Follow Team because the idea kept nagging me because I wanted to use it, but it didn't exist.
As a big fan of Twitter I’m always looking out for great people to follow. When I come across a new product or startup I often think it would be great to follow the team behind it. Unfortunately this is harder todo than it should be.
Been enjoying using Omarchy and this is my way of keeping tabs on what's going on.
