Thanks for building this! Am getting a "Cannot connect to server muchassemblyrequired.com:443" error. When I try to enter the live demo. Is it just an overloaded server?
Have definitely noticed an explosion of Learn Assembly / Low Level Hacking genre video games coming out. And can definitely see how this will soon become a part of "Computation Structures" courses. Even at the secondary school level. Keep it up!
If you are craving a more penetrating discourse on how technology is affecting the modern mating game. I'd give a listen to this enlightening interview noted couples therapist Esther Perel gave on a recent episode of Fresh Air with Terry Gross. She makes the point that due to social media, etc. there is now what amounts to a paper trail for our assignations. And a mere "like" is enough to constitute a form of cheating ;)
As Marriage Standards Change, A Therapist Recommends 'Rethinking Infidelity'
While it may be impossible to empirically quantify if humans are enjoying less intimacy than a generation ago. I do see a danger that the erotic sphere is becoming abstracted away from its powerful roots by modern alienation. To get that mojo back, is to return to more ritualistic practices. Perhaps inspired by ancient rites of fertility common to all cultures. Akin to the way farm-to-table and slow food movements can cure one of the malaise that arises from prolonged daily exposure to Seamless dinners without any connection to Nature.
But then again, my cure for almost any modern ailment tends to be to look to the ancients!
Congrats on launching, Zach! Wondering if massively mutltiplayer CLI games are the Next Big Thing for procrastinating programmers? Instead of something that requires 30 fps rendition, however, it may be prudent to start with an HQ Trivia style multiple choice live game show ;)
High Performance Browser Networking by Ilya Grigorik is a canonical resource. Lots of deep historical and technical background on WebRTC. As well as WebSockets, HTTP/2, TLS, UDP, TCP, and much more.
Also. This past year to date has evinced all time historical low volatility in major currency crosses. Difficult to make the case based on sheer volume that fiat is being abandoned for crypto. But players hunting for alpha tend to go where the action is:

I think the main differentiator is Firebase integration. Especially registering with Analytics events such as Auth. But yeah obvs you trade convenience for vendor lockin ;)
Here is a Codelab to get you started and I believe you'll see how it can reduce your development time dramatically...
Looks like good design choices to me. Separating the power and compute from goggles reduces weight on the headset. Its ideally suited to be integrated into a special ops soldier's helmet for use on the battlefield. Or a surgical visor for a telemedicine operating theatre.
It's very much Day One for this. HoloLens has been a stealth hit for Microsoft this year. Its the kit ($3K) I'm most excited to try out. Its quite possible all design prototyping and additive manufacturing software interfaces will have a head-mounted 3D input component soon.
And that's just the enterprise market. For retail consumers, check out Fragments to see the possibilities of turning turning home or public spaces into immersive gaming environments:
Honestly, github and video screen are way more informative. Usually through cyclops.io so we can jump into whiteboarding or screen sharing.
If there was a way to have a single hosting platform. Where candidates could create 90 second video intros of themselves. Describing their projects, interests and personal and professional philosophies. With links to demos, apps, etc. A lot like YCombinator startup candidate videos. I think that could be tremendously useful! Best of luck ;)
Thanks! I'd be curious also to hear what sort of applications you plan on building with WebRTC. My own interest lies in HTML5 web gaming and peer networks.
Another useful resource for starting with WebRTC is Sam Dutton's Simple Info site:
"A book must be the axe for the frozen sea inside us." -Kafka
John Le Carre, Salman Rushdie, John Banville, Anthony Horowitz. All had superlative novels out this year.
Also just started Francis Spufford's Golden Hill. Absolutely sublime way to spend a snow bound winter night.
The crisis is obviously in readership. Not writing. And the chaotic divergence of attention.
It may be true that the text no longer acts as Bildungsroman. The primary method to impart moral and spiritual character to young influence-able minds.
But then the Mountain must come to Muhammad. And the great works rendered as digital classics.
I also love Google's Design site. Thinking about a single design language. That can be transmuted across Chrome, Android, VR and AR. Is a really powerful way to think about interfaces that can be used by billions of users. Good Luck :)

Indie GameDev is absolutely a hits driven business. Often I tell people you will learn more from studying some thing like the Autobiography of Keith Richards. Than yet another build a game engine in thirty days book ;)
Html5 "io" games follow similar viral trajectories. But also have some staying power. Once they develop mechanics or features that encourage replay-ablity. Particularly at web scale multiplayer with leaderboards ;)
