Honestly it's in the eyes of the beholder; there is no meaning to any of it except that which we assign. What I believe strongly in may seem meaningless to you. I realize this is probably an annoying answer so here's a comic that capture's how I feel:
Highly doubt that any proper silicon fix is going to be out this year. Silicon validation is no joke, so I’d expect 3years before speculation issues are fixed properly. I think the new fixes will be in microcode instead
Also got to say Al Pacino is so insufferable. De Niro was excellent though. My favorite scene is the end in stand up guys (also Pacino is far more mellow and tolerable in that one)
> H1-B is designed to just be a pool to temporarily fill labor shortages in the US. It's not intended to be the path for PR hence why it's admittedly arbitrary.
I think that is incorrect. It is expected for F-1 students to move to an H1-B (which allows intent to immigrate) and then move to PR (usually via an EB)
Nice, does this get rid of the shitty AI for the janitor? I can't tell you how annoying it is to watch them do everything except clean the damn puke and trash of the path.
From the guidelines: Please don't insinuate that someone hasn't read an article. "Did you even read the article? It mentions that" can be shortened to "The article mentions that."
Typical advice is if you're older, say within 10 years of retirement push towards treasury bonds, commodities etc. (ultra safe investments). If you're young, you can try to time it, but even if you screw-up just hold through the crash and it'll recover in a couple of years. Do some more research, you don't want to put stock in random internet comments... including mine!
They haven't been able to compete since the A6... it's hard for them though because Apple makes the chip very large while Samsung and Qualcomm don't wish to take that risk
Great news (hope it continues), Intel has rested on it's laurels for the last 5 years. It's borderline absurd how difficult it is to get an Intel CPU these days, what with the random product segmentation and price gouging for features like more PCIe lanes and ECC RAM. Whichever brand you prefer it's important for AMD to succeed to keep everyone honest. I hope MAD improves on the GPU front so that Nvidia is kept honest as well.
