Thank you for making this, the Internet needs more of these. The young ones among us are likely still scratching their heads whilst trying to understand what RSS is...this puts it all together in a neat little package ala Kagi, Blogroll, etc. Good ol' directory-style.
Sounds like you're asking for financial help to fund your hobby. Why not reduce costs by hosting your basic website as "static"? And add your videos to Youtube or anything similar?
Still just text/markdown with grep. I fondly remember the first days when I started seeing beyond the apps! It was strange but I eventually got used to it. It was a bit like these blank-page writing apps / websites in vogue atm. Once the distractions were gone, I worked so much quicker. BUT, this is very personal - the important thing is finding your flow. If it works, run with it.
I asked my wife why she does it. I also asked a lot of female colleagues - turns out that for my small sample set, they do this simply to prevent their face makeup from ending up on the phone screen.
Over time, my limitation has always been the tool.I now make notes exclusively in plain text or Markdown with some light folder organisation in the same place. Then, when I need to find something but can't remember where, I `grep`. It has never failed me once.
