Fantastic. Spreading the word would be great support to us. You can email to [email protected] or [email protected] to get the FBX files. I'll share all other info as we discuss in the email :)
Haha! "Contact us for quote" is current way for us now - sorry for that. Automating the purchase needs a ton of effort at the moment.
Windows app seems like a cool idea as well. Feedback noted!!!
Thanks a ton again for the ideas, comments & questions.
Any specific issue with the installation? Please let us know so that we can help.
- Thank a ton for the feedback this is highly helpful.
- We actually had a purchase button last week but removed it because there a bit of manually step involved in it. (Users need to do a purchase request, and we will sending the fbx files to them manually: this has to be automated.)
- Yes, we had to maintain the textures at a lower level to make the AR output was better.
- I truly agree with the graphic designers, marketers, new animators point of view. This could be a huge deal for them.
- We will surely discuss about this internally to take a b2b route if needed.
Somehow missed it. We work on IST (Indian Standard Timing) & we were awake till 5:30 in the morning. Apologies that I somehow missed to reply the above comment. Privacy is something which is very important to us as well. We are and we will be taking a lot measures to make sure that we don't mismanage a user's data in anyway.
- We will let you know and get your permission if we choose to train the ML system and improve the efficiency.
- At the moment its about: rectifying your model from the backend if the ML system failed to plot the segmentation properly.
- The Selfie photo alone is shared with the AvatarSDK API for head generation.
- I think going the Privacy policy or t&Cs is a huge pain for a lot of users. So I'm planning to create a bulletin and showcase at the start of creating the model so that the users are well informed :)
Sorry about that. Kindly follow the capture instructions as much as possible. There are chances that if the lighting isn’t proper or if the background is crowded etc can cause the system to delay. :) please retry it once and let me know if you have problem again .. thank you so much for your comment. :)
We are currently working on a whole line of textures/ outfits. This will coming in the future updates. Please stay tuned. We will also notify you :) Apologies that you the feel model like someone else. Please place a rectify request, so that we can fix the issue from our back end.
If the output is not as you expected, we can rectify it from the back end. For that, once you place the rectify request - we use your capture to fix the issues. :)
OMG, thank you so much for the detailed comment. This is super helpful. I’ll definitely discuss about this with the team. And the plan of going b2b and then moving to b2c seems great as well. I’ll do homework about this. Is there way to get in touch with you? Would love to discuss more and do some brainstorming :)
Really sorry - I can see others generating the model successfully. It would be great if you can please try it again by restarting the app. Thank you so much. While restarting the app shouldn’t be the solution, bare with us at the moment. :(
While this seems very similar to bitmoji but for real avatars, I think there are a lot of use cases that Snapchat hasn’t tapped into. As move forward & With the models generated,
- choose the model (you can even request your friend’s)
- select any 3D environment (a coffee shop or a riverside)
- hop into it
- start acting
- & record
Since we are bootstrapped we couldn’t build everything at once. :)
You might be right, B2B play seems straightforward. There is this powerful intuition that we can make it work this way. Thank you so much for the question.
Introducing this as an API was something ppl have told us repeatedly. Our plan was to, later as we grow, come up with something like “Sign in with Highavenue” - this way users can export their data to any gaming/MMOs or any other application with just single button tap.
And we can make sure it works cross platforms. We will collaborate soon on this :)
Also, what are your thoughts on systems like Apple's object Capture?
