Hey man,
I work at a startup in Karlsruhe, Germany. Check out our career page https://zenkit.com/en/careers. We're looking for people exactly like you. Our stack is Angular in the frontend and Node.js in the backend ;).. Would be awesome to hear from you. You can also email me and we'll arrange a call. [email protected]
I think German companies are a lot more conservative when it comes to taking risk. That also goes for customers. Customers look at long evaluation periods before adopting a technology. This causes most tech companies to over engineer a solution before bringing it to market.
The "assemble the right team" part is pretty crucial here I´d say. Without a well fitting team there´s not much to manage. I´ve had some bad experiences with that in the past. If the team members have problems amongst themselves, it is very hard to get stuff done in the first place.
What a great article! I wanted to read the book for a long time but never had enough time. The article really seems to summarize it and makes it understandable. Well done! I´ve also stumbled upon this one on the same blog. It explains the implementation with Zenkit. I guess it would be worth a try. https://blog.zenkit.com/how-to-set-up-gtd-in-zenkit-902fa696...
I´ve got another one for you. If you´re interested in project management tools, check out http://zenkit.com
Zenkit basically includes all the features you need, like Kanban Board, Mind-Map, Calendar View and so on.
Helpie looks awesome! Really cool. Loving the analytics feature page. We designed our "Knowledge Base" page similarly at Zenkit. Check it out here: https://zenkit.com/documentation
