nostalgia of a better time, adobe flash ran wild, downloading music files that ended in.exe, the s in https wasn't even a thought....

I digress. Was reminiscing addictinggames old website with Javanoid and decided to build the OG in WASM. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I've been.

I charge $15k a week to fix any AI code that they fix that then needs to be fixed.

so this is really cool and I think could be the missing piece for something I wanted to build, I found this awhile back and using https://github.com/npiesco/absurder-sql you could keep the entire raw corpus in browser (persisted via IndexedDB/SQLite)...then you could generate + cache embeddings on demand with Ternlight (instead of pre-indexing everything i.e., https://weaviate.io/blog/chunking-strategies-for-rag). then this opens up the door for Reciprocal Rank Fusion (RRF) aka hybrid retrieval where you combine FTS5/BM25 from the native SQLite plues the semantic search using from TernLight!

Braintrust which is a really solid eval tool/platform just compared it to Opus 4.8 to see if it could preserve exact long context retrieval under prod serving constraints and it did really well. I think 6-12 months before OSS has Fable-esque models

there was the issue in Feb but it was resolved, something else newer happen?

isn't that more of a convention than an actual guarantee?

Correct, but RustFS is the only drop in replacement (just migrated) Garage and Seaweed are nice (didn't look into Ceph) but you have to re-ingest. RustFS was just plug and play albeit a few minor API differences.

Also Apache licensing gives some peace of mind after the musical chair license game before they finally landed on only paid AIStor offering.

So then would LTAP sit to both the left and the right of the medallion architecture? Meaning would you on the left of Bronze use it as an OLTP and to the right of Gold use it as an OLAP? Currently we've been mainly utilizing it to the right of Gold to develop analytic PERN applications that allow us to reuse the RBAC/ACLs set in Unity Catalog, but from this article it seems like that's only half of its utility?

could you clarify for me, because isn't that a different guarantee? from my understanding, Rust and Zig make allocations explicit, but [@zero_alloc] lets you declare "this function (and everything it calls) must not allocate" and have compiler enforce it.

i just cloned this down to mess with, it seems almost like a lightweight blockchain less crypto currency, consensus, and network rule. pretty cool, curious "automated execution layer, the FORGE DAG engine, and enterprise compliance tooling" what these are written in?

big fan of memgraph, been utilizing for awhile over neo4j ever since I saw a NASA article detailing their migration effort and the why behind it.

my question is does this multi-tenancy support apply to vector embedding as well? from usage I know it supports vector indexes on nodes/edges, I’m curious whether those embedding properties and vector indexes are isolated and manageable per database in a multi-tenant deployment? any limitations I should know about? context: individual/organization/enterprise knowledge bases being developed need mechanism to promote relevant information up from personal stores into team and from team into corporate.

I don't use AI; only edits to my posts are made by auto-spell checker. I have exactly 1 downvote. Just yours....

Again with these demeaning comments "you are certain" -- who exactly are you -- the arbiter of what constitutes human vs AI generated content? Yes, I am certain.

EDIT: After testing my own content on GPTZero, I am curious, is that specific platform utilized to determine if my text is AI generated?

You're part of the problem with this unsubstantiated and unwarranted proclamation. I did not, and quite frankly your subjective opinion of whether I did or not does not change immutable reality; nor do I particularly care.

I am rather upset, the above user gave me negative karma for what? Defending myself against a false accusation?

This is ridiculous if I use proper grammar and punctuation I get flagged as AI.

`if i talk like this and dont use proper syntax and convention then i come off as an unintelligent and fake version of myself i am watering down to appease whatever algorithm flagged me as ai`

https://preview.redd.it/ai-detector-flagged-a-passage-from-m...

...now I am going to speak like myself again -- AI sounding and all (oh, double dash is not em dash I've been using them for 2 decades)

This is just to highlight how ridiculous this all is and honestly off-putting to a new member, forget non-native English speakers, all AI algorithms do is flag polished post. I don't want to water myself down and act dumb to avoid an algorithm and tip-toe around every post I make.

my post are not AI generated...I apologize if my tone/vernacular comes off as generated, but that's just my own voice. down voting my comment based on unfounded assumptions is upsetting and discouraging to a new member such as myself.
